Please note that Semester 1, 2022 Course Profiles will be uploaded in 2022, and are subject to change up until the commencement of Semester 1, 2022.  However, the Semester 1, 2021 Course Profiles can be used as a guide up until this time (click on the course below, and then Semester 1, 2021 Course Profile).

You must read the relevant Course Profile before applying to ESP, so you are aware of specific course expectations, objectives, activities and contact hours. 

Please note that even though there may be Course Profiles available for other semesters, ESP is only available in Semester One.

Calculus and Linear Algebra 1 (MATH1051)
 Applicants must be studying Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. To be considered for MATH1051, students must be achieving a minimum HA (‘B’) grade in Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics in Semester 1, Year 11.  However, it is highly recommended that applicants are achieving at a VHA (‘A’) level.  Students achieving well in these subjects have better outcomes in MATH1051.

Discrete Mathematics (MATH1061)
 Applicants must be studying Mathematical Methods.  To be considered for MATH1061, students must be achieving a minimum HA (‘B’) grade in Mathematical Methods in Semester 1, Year 11.  However, it is highly recommended that applicants are achieving at a VHA (‘A’) level.  Students achieving well in these subjects have better outcomes in MATH1061.
