Applications open on Monday, 15 April and close at 5pm on Friday, 7 June 2024. Applications submitted after the closing date and time will not be considered.

Don't forget to check your junk mail folder for correspondence! If you do not see the email, you may miss out on an offer.

Courses

You will find a list of courses being offered to Year 11 Enhanced Studies Program students on the Year 11 courses page.

You must read the relevant Course Profile before applying, so you are aware of course expectations, objectives, activities and contact hours. Each course links to the Electronic Course Profile (ECP) for that course. When the Semester 2 profile is not live, please refer to the previous semester ECP. They can be used as a guide until the relevant ECP is published.

Course availability between Year 11 and Year 12 students may differ and cannot be changed.

Study mode

Most courses are offered on an internal study mode only, which requires on campus attendance in St Lucia. If a course is offered in external mode (online) it will be noted under delivery mode.

International students

You will also need to provide your passport and visa document.

Please download the Permission and Declaration Form, and read and complete ALL fields.

Firstly, seek parental/guardian consent, then seek permission from your school.

You may need to contact your school to find who is the best person to provide this consent (e.g. Guidance Officer or Principal).

Ensure the form is fully completed and signed by yourself, your parent/guardian and your school.

To help you with applying, we created this quick reference Online Application Guide.

You will be applying through the UQ application portal linked below. All ESP applicants will need to nominate 'non-award study' as the program.

Once your application has been assessed and you are deemed eligible, you will be sent an offer and you can accept it by logging in and following the prompts.

If you do not accept your offer in the system by the Friday before the start of classes, you will be unable to participate in the Enhanced Studies Program. No acceptances will be allowed after the start of semester. You must also enrol in the course and submit your timetable preferences as soon as possible after acceptance.

Students required to undertake language placement tests or auditions will be contacted in due course.
